The primary objective of the created site was to promote our Joomla learning management system and to encourage its further growing and evolving. The key features that were supposed to engage visitors were clean and user-friendly design and the sufficient amount of information so that any user would get the sense of LMS and its core principles.

The site is executed in the following manner and contains the next potentialities:

  • easy registration and extended member’s profile;
  • search bar – enables the ability to sort the site’s content;
  • forum – a discussion board enabling users to exchange their thoughts;
  • contacts – a form that allows to send comments and wishes to the site’s administration;
  • demo section – a most comprehensive part of the site that exactly shows the learning management system itself in use, allowing to test and surf the courses, create your  own one and check all system’s features and advantages;
  • try and buy section where customers can sample trial versions of the LMS, buy  needed LMS license, additional modules, hosting services;
  • members area - where customers can manage bought LMS licenseы, additional modules, hosting;
  • the site’s content is perfectly linked so that a user may always jump to the part he needs;
  • the folding effects – fluid width and folding header make the searching and reading much more convenient;
  • the adjustable font size – decreasing, increasing and making the default size add a point to site’s usability;
  • the sitemap is a one more gadget that keeps the end-users close to the content and explains one more time the sense of each section.

The better the site’s appearance and functionality, the easier is the management of the resource.  Provided that the LMS system is a component designed specially for JoomlaCMS, it doesn’t work separately. Yet the JoomlaCMS itself offers a wide range of options and features to apply. An addition we’ve done the SEO promotion  for the site to attract the customers, so that by far we can definitely say that the LMS product is widely used(more then 1000 customers on 1-st of December 2007) and receives favorable reviews from users while the site serves as a guide to this set of tools where everyone can try and test the system, then buy it.
