Belitsoft at International Conference Dedicated to eLearning

On December 1-2, 2011 Belitsoft company participated in VII International scientific and methodical conference Distance Learning - An Educational Environment of the XXI Century. The event was held on the basis of "Belorussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics". The main goal of the conference was to exchange the international experience in the field of integration of information technology into education and learning process, e-Learning development.

The following questions were on the agenda of the conference:

• Organizational and instructional support of distance training;
• Intelligent computer technologies of distance learning;
• Problems of quality of social and humanitarian disciplines teaching;
• Information systems and computer networks in education.

During the discussion of the agenda Belitsoft company and its eLearning department eLearningSoft presented the experience of intelligent computer technologies integration for distance learning organization to the public. The report was based on the case studies of eLearning software development and integration, and the case studies of successful integration of Learning Management Systems and content authoring tools, as well as third party ready courses into private business and learning organizations of different scale both in CIS and Western Europe, Northern America and other parts of the world. The main idea of the report was highlighting of the eLearning system functional and its effective use for distance learning.

In conclusion the importance and the benefits of such events for e-Learning development both in Belarus and in other countries were confirmed.

The organizational committee of the conference included:

• The Ministry of Education of Republic of Belarus;
• Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education by distance training;
• Educational Establishment "Belorussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics";
• International Public Association of Trustees and Alumni MRTI-BSUIR.

It was decided to attract more attention to the event since information technology has penetrated deeply in all human activities. It is important to use them for the common good and effective as possible, and education is one of the areas with top priorities.
