Our client from the United States was looking for the contractor to create music social network with a unique approach to its users and really interesting ideas which can take everyone’s fancy. The client got the clear plan to create a website and iOS application.

Overview
The main website is divided into 3 type of profiles:
THE FIRST ONE IS CALLED «FANS AND FOLLOWERS». BY USING THIS ACCOUNT TYPE YOU ARE ABLE:
- Find new friends addicted to music industry, find new bands,
- Share your thoughts on different songs and albums and find live music events in your town or country.
- Create your own playlists and share them with your friends.
THE SECOND ONE IS CALLED «MUSICIANS AND BANDS»:
- Syndicate your own audio and video content to your followers and fans.
- Create new events and inform the whole world about it.
- Find new people who work in the music industry: band photographers, journalists, sound engineers and etc.
- Manage your social hubs.
THE THIRD ONE IS «INDUSTRY AND VENUES». WHEN USER IS LOGGED IN BY THIS TYPE OF ACCOUNT HE IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH MUSICIANS AND FANS:
- Provide professional services for bands and individuals (photographers, sound engineers and etc.)
- Promote future events by using upload functions.
- Share your status on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
THERE ARE MANY DISTINCTIVE FEATURES AMONG THEM ARE:
- With the help of AJAX technology, the website is loaded «on the fly» as visitors will see only loading stripe.
- Wide filtering options to see the news or statuses you really want.
- Division on “Followers” and “Friends” to give more interaction options.
- Every user is able to create playlists and listen to music while browsing web pages.
Otherwise, Belitsoft developed all necessary features and created a social network and iOS mobile application.
What concerns mobile application development, our client wanted to include one of the most impressive options – the ability to have multi-track (channels) audio recording option and filter appliance.
If someone recorded his own audio track, for example, using guitar, users are able to share it with friends and subscribers. After that, your friends/subscribers can listen your guitar recordings through headphones and record their voices on this track. Then anyone else can add drums recordings or any other musical instrument.
To implement the described feature Belitsoft has used special iOS Audio Framework.
Therefore we’ve created cloud-based collaborative multi-track recording – which could pair musicians from all over the world and allow them to create a single audio track with multiple instruments.
