We are looking for an experienced DPI Researcher who will play a key role in advancing our traffic classification capabilities. Your work will have a direct impact on the visibility, security and control.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop cutting-edge DPI detection algorithms for encrypted and obfuscated traffic
- Reverse-engineer and analyze traffic patterns from mobile, desktop, and IoT applications
- Develop and maintain DPI protocol signatures across a wide range of application types
- Write and maintain automation tools and scripts to support analysis and protocol detection
- Investigate anonymizers, evasive apps, and traffic anomalies
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and protocols to ensure up-to-date detection capabilities
- Contribute to the integration of DPI engines in high-performance, real-time systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Strong understanding of networking principles and common protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, VoIP)
- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and attention to details
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Good to have:
- Experience with cybersecurity topics and/or network analysis
- Experience with programming in Python or Java or C/C++
- Experience with Linux environments
