We are looking for Junior DPI Researcher who will play a key role in advancing our traffic classification capabilities. You'll research and implement identification algorithms, maintain DPI signatures, and contribute to innovative detection methods for encrypted and emerging network protocols. Your work will have a direct impact on the visibility, security and control.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop cutting-edge DPI detection algorithms for encrypted and obfuscated traffic
- Contribute to the development and updating of DPI protocol signatures
- Use network analysis tools to examine and classify traffic patterns
- Write and maintain automation scripts to support research activities
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Telecommunications, Information Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding and related experience in networking principles and common protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP(S), DNS, SSL/TLS)
- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and attention to details
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Good to have:
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark or tcpdump
- Exposure to cybersecurity topics or network analysis
- Experience with programming in Python or Java or C/C++
- Experience with Linux environments
