We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong C# skills who can not only write automated tests, but also contribute innovative ideas and improve the existing automation framework. As we are currently evolving our system's architecture, the initial focus will be on manual and exploratory testing to ensure software quality during this transition. Automation will become a key focus as the system stabilizes, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable adapting to this journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in testing the agents across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux and Thin clients
- Extend and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with other QA projects.
- Collaborate closely with developers and the QA lead to improve test coverage and product quality.
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests.
- Document and evaluate test results, track and manage defects, and work alongside the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide project updates, including test execution status, identified bugs, and fixed defects, while helping to improve testing processes.
Requirements:
- Strong C# programming skills, with experience in automation framework development (ideally from scratch).
- Experience collecting system data from Windows 10/11, and ideally macOS and Linux desktops/thin clients.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and proxies (e.g., Charles, mitmproxy).
- 3+ years of professional testing experience in an Agile environment, working directly with developers.
- Experience using Git with distributed version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
- Hands-on experience testing enterprise software in a commercial software product company.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, or VirtualBox.
- Highly organized, creative thinker, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Conversational level of English.
