A few words about the project:
The central product for the remote Minsk team is Facebook advertisement product/tool.
The product is written in an PHP 5.3 now and will be upgraded to PHP 7 in 2018.
Must have skills:
- PHP development experience outside of just being a strict 1-framework developer (custom PHP frameworks like Symfony or Laravel will be a plus).
- Some skills in front-end development are required (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) but the focus is largely on backend business logic development, API development and database development.
- Solid OO experience (and understanding of basic design patterns);
- Understanding of Big O (time complexity) on basic algorithms;
- Solid PHP experience (5 vs 7 and understanding most PHP specifics);
- Enthusiastic about technology;
- English level enough for interview;
- Works well in a team;
- Happy to shift their schedule to later hours (Until 7-8 pm Minsk time instead of 5-6 pm);
- Comfortable writing unit and integration tests with their code.
