Support, maintenance, automation of a production and a set of non-production Kubernetes environments in the Azure cloud running a banking application with microservices architecture on Istio.
Responsibilities:
- Regular (semi-weekly) application deployment support;
- Environment(s) maintenance and support as necessary;
- Communication and collaboration with the customer devops and development teams;
- Proactive attitude towards the environments and devops/sre processes improvement.
Requirements:
- Azure: ARM templates, load balancing, networking (vnets, security etc), storage (disks, containers, etc);
- Kubernetes, especially Kubernetes on Azure (Service load balancers, PV/PVC Azure CSI, etc);
- Service mesh, specifically Istio (routers, virtual services, distributed cross-cluster deployment etc);
- CI/CD, Jenkins.
