We have a client who provides the best MIS and finance solution for all schools to help improve student outcomes. They are constantly developing system and present software via up to date browser technology and an intuitive user friendly interface making everyday tasks simple to find and execute. You will be working closely with product owner, scrum and product teams, helping them analyse the needs of our prospects and customers and translating those needs into user stories and requirements for the development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to ensure clear communication and alignment of wireframes with project requirements.
- Detailed interrogation of client needs and gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Eliciting and creating detailed requirement documents in the form of features and user stories.
- Identifying, developing, and supporting business process change
- Identifying and defining risk factors that could occur
- Being the business analyst role for customer projects in an Agile Team – being available to the team and participating in all Agile Meetings such as sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Involvement in competitor analysis and market value proposition.
- Continuous improvement across the team and wider organisation.
- Supporting the user acceptance testing process to make sure that implementation meets the needs of the customers.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- English language proficiency at B2 level and above.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in managing epics, stories, features, tasks, and product backlog items (PBI).
- Ability to decompose epics into actionable stories/features.
- Understanding of entity relations, including objects and their relationships.
- Ability to assess the impact of changes on the system.
- Basic knowledge of XML, including understanding XML and XSD structures, and comparing XSD files.
- Basic SQL proficiency, covering schema selection, data retrieval using select queries, and understanding the impact of adding new fields.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with the UK education system and its processes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
